Our Go To Luggage: We’ve tried plenty of suitcases over the years, but our July luggage has genuinely become our favourite. We’ve even had one come back from a trip damaged and dented, and thanks to July’s lifetime warranty, we were able to make a claim and have a brand-new suitcase sent to us.

One Adapter, Every Plug

A universal travel plug and a permanent fixture in our bag. It works across multiple countries, whether that is Europe, Australia, America or Asia. Whether we are plugged into a UK three-pin or travelling abroad, we are never caught out and always have a plug.

Organised Packing, Every Time

These bags keep our suitcase neat, tidy and properly organised. For multi-centre trips we pack one bag per destination, which makes it so much easier to find exactly what we need. We compress our clothes down and always know where our outfits are, with an evening bag, a daywear bag and a destination bag when needed. Yes, they do look like they are on the pricier side, however they are very robust and do come with a warranty, so if anything goes wrong you can claim back and get replacement bags sent to you. For years we used normal vacuum bags and these have revolutionised our lives. We do not go anywhere without them.

Our Go-To eSIM

We always purchase an eSIM before we board so it is ready the moment we land. We always use the same provider because we have never had an issue with data. No queuing at the airport, no hunting for a SIM card. We pre-order before we travel and because it is an eSIM it goes straight onto the phone. Sorted before we board and working the moment we land.

The Socks That Save Our Legs

Long haul flights can be rough on circulation. You can get sore and tight legs, which is not the best start to any trip. We always wear flight socks on any flight over three hours and we really notice the difference. It gives us peace of mind when we cannot get out of our seat, and we always notice how much better we feel once we land.

A Comfortable Travel Pillow

We have tried loads of travel pillows over the years. Most of them crook your neck or are uncomfortable to sleep on. This one has a unique design which means you can sleep at different angles. If you are someone whose neck falls to the side, this will support you throughout your whole journey. It is also great for resting your neck while watching movies. This pillow is one of the things that genuinely helps us sleep on a plane when we usually struggle to.

The Headphones We Never Fly Without

Planes are loud. The engine hum, the trolley going past, a baby or young child a few rows back. These noise-cancelling headphones have saved us on many occasions. They help us get completely lost in a film and also help us sleep by dialling out all the noise around us. A genuine game changer for long haul.

Our Favourite Travel Bands

I wear these any time I am travelling on a cruise or a flight. It does not matter which. They are an acupressure band so there is no medication involved and they sit loosely on your wrist. They always help me feel more comfortable and make a real difference with motion sickness, whether I am at sea or up in the air.
