Definitions

• Site means Travellingpandas.com and all pages within it.
• Content means our blogs, videos, guides, itineraries, checklists, images and any other material we publish.
• We, us, our means Travelling Pandas.
• You, your means anyone using the Site.
• Guide means our free destination blogs or paid PDF guides.
• Bespoke Itinerary means the personalised itinerary planning service we provide for a fee.

Acceptance of these terms

These terms apply across the whole of the Site, and to your use of it in any way. This includes reading our destination blogs, watching Travelling Pandas YouTube content linked from the Site, signing up to our newsletter, purchasing a PDF guide, or signing up to our Bespoke Itinerary service. By using any part of the Site, you accept these terms in full.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version live on the Site at the time you use it is the one that applies.

Our services

Travelling Pandas shares travel knowledge and destination content built from our own, first hand experience. Every place, tip and recommendation on this Site reflects what we have personally seen, done and used. We may draw on online sources and research to check or validate facts such as opening times, prices or entry requirements, but the experience and opinions behind our content are entirely our own.

This includes our free destination blogs, our YouTube channel and our other social media, alongside more focused content such as travel checklists, top tips, and practical guidance on how to book things. We also offer paid PDF guides and a Bespoke Itinerary service for people who want a deeper level of planning support.

Travelling Pandas is not a travel agent, tour operator or booking provider. We do not sell flights, accommodation, transport or attractions. Any booking you make, whether directly or through an affiliate link, is made directly with the relevant provider, whose own terms and conditions will apply.

Our content is based on our personal travel experiences and research undertaken at the time of publication. This does not guarantee your experience will be identical.

Bespoke itineraries

If you purchase our Bespoke Itinerary service, the following applies in addition to the rest of these terms.

• The itinerary we provide is guidance only, based on our own research and experience.
• You are responsible for making all bookings for flights, accommodation, transport, attractions and any other part of your trip.
• You are responsible for checking and arranging your own passport validity, visas, vaccinations and travel insurance.
• You are responsible for monitoring weather conditions, transport disruption, attraction closures, and any changes to prices or availability, both before and during your trip.

We are not responsible for any loss, cost or inconvenience arising from bookings you make, or from circumstances outside our control affecting your trip.

Assumption of risk

Some activities, attractions or experiences we mention or recommend, including adventure or high-risk activities, carry an inherent element of risk. Even where we recommend something, you are responsible for assessing whether it is suitable for you, following operator and local safety guidance, and making your own decision about whether to take part. We are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage arising from activities you choose to take part in, whether or not we have recommended them.

Circumstances beyond our control

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in providing our content or services where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption, political events or government restrictions.

Travel requirements and safety

Whether you are using our free content or our Bespoke Itinerary service, the following remain your responsibility:

• Obtaining appropriate travel insurance for your trip.
• Checking passport validity, visa requirements, vaccination requirements and local laws for your destination.
• Exercising your own judgement while travelling, and following the guidance of local authorities.

Prices, currency exchange rates, opening hours, timetables, events and transport information shown in our content may change after publication, and may vary by season. Maps and suggested routes included in our content are indicative only and should not be relied on for navigation. Always check current information before you travel.

Licence and ownership

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Everything on the Site, including our blogs, photography, video content, graphics, logos, trademarks, databases, downloadable guides, itineraries and PDFs, belongs to Travelling Pandas unless stated otherwise. You may view and read our Content under the licence above. You may not republish, resell, sub-license, publicly display, reproduce for commercial purposes, edit, or otherwise redistribute our Content without our written permission.

You may not use our Content, in any form, to train artificial intelligence models, language models or other automated systems, without our written consent.

If you have purchased a PDF guide or Bespoke Itinerary, it is licensed to you for personal use only, and may not be shared, resold or redistributed. We may revoke this licence at any time if you breach these terms.

Accuracy of content

We work hard to make sure our blogs, tips and recommendations are accurate and based on real, recent experience. All content is accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing. Information may become outdated without notice, so we recommend you independently verify important details such as visa requirements, health advice and opening hours before you travel.

Not professional travel advice

Travelling Pandas is a content and planning resource, not a licensed travel agency or provider of professional legal, medical or financial advice. Our blogs and Bespoke Itinerary service reflect our own experience. For official guidance on travel safety, visas and health requirements, always check your government's official travel advisory service, such as the FCDO for UK travellers, in addition to reading our content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Travelling Pandas is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its Content.

If you have not purchased anything directly from us, our total liability to you is limited to £50. If you have purchased a product or service directly from us, such as a PDF guide or Bespoke Itinerary, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for that product or service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Indemnity

You agree to cover Travelling Pandas for any losses, costs or expenses we suffer as a result of your breach of these terms, or as a result of any claim arising from your breach of these terms.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Your data

How we collect and use your personal data, including newsletter sign ups, cookies and affiliate tracking, is set out in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Enforcement

If you breach these terms, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including suspending or blocking your access to the Site.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of these terms will remain in full effect.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Travelling Pandas regarding your use of the Site, and replace any earlier agreements on the same subject.

Governing law

Travelling Pandas is based in England, United Kingdom. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, wherever in the world you are accessing the Site from.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, particularly as new features such as payment processing go live. We will update the dates at the top of this page whenever we make a change.
